About

My name is Jenny Berger, and I’m a technical writer in South Florida. I’m also the parent of a rapidly growing girl, I read as often as I can, and I really like knitting blankets. I tend to collect enterprises — among them, learning French, acquainting myself with Active Directory and Group Policy, and painting (art, not walls). The most important thing is progress and I am most content with progress that lasts lifetimes.

A Brief History

Although writing technical documentation is fun (yes, really!), I’ve also written on a more personal level.

From 2000-2003, I kept a personal blog on this site that managed to get a little notice from friends and strangers alike. One of my posts was later included in this book (onĀ page 228, to be exact). In 2004, I took the blog down so I could focus on other things in my life. I didn’t want to lose the content, but since it was about a very specific period in my life I also didn’t want to keep it public. So, I thinned the archives a bit, removed all the blather posts, and compiled a “best of” book from the remaining posts. I self-published this through Blurb, the result of which was rather impressive.
